I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction because I've been searching online and getting a bit frustrated. We've got four of those big yellow wheeled spill kit bins scattered around our warehouse in Sharjah, and they've been great for the most part, but we finally had to use one a few weeks ago for a hydraulic fluid leak and now it's depleted and I need to restock it. The problem is the bins came from a supplier that's no longer in business, so I can't just order refills from them directly. I'm not sure if the absorbents are standard sizes that any kit will fit, or if I need to get specific refill packs that match the bin dimensions. The bins themselves are in perfect condition, heavy duty plastic with good wheels, so I really don't want to buy whole new kits just for the absorbents. I found a
Quality Spill Kits supplier in Sharjah that seems to have refill options but I'm not sure if they'll fit our existing containers. Has anyone else had this issue where you need to restock but the original supplier isn't around anymore? Are the absorbent pads and socks pretty standard across brands or do they vary a lot in size and type? Also, is there a checklist of what should actually be in a fully stocked kit, because I'm not even sure if ours had the right stuff to begin with. Would really appreciate any advice on how to approach this without wasting money on the wrong refills.
