Is the Technics EAH-AZ100 review hype real, and are these earbuds worth buying for sound quality and noise cancelling? | Forum (pending approval)

Most reviewers agree the hype around the techyassist.net/blog/technics-eah-az100-review/ is largely justified. A typical Technics EAH-AZ100 review praises sound first, thanks to the new magnetic-fluid driver that Technics slimmed down from its far more expensive wired IEM range. The result is clean, detailed audio with consistent low-end punch and highs that stay bright without turning harsh. Reviews from outlets like What Hi-Fi, T3 and TechRadar describe them as a clear step up from the previous EAH-AZ80.Noise cancelling is another strength. Technics moved one microphone inside the bud to improve ANC, and reviewers describe the isolation as very effective for travel, commuting and office work. Battery life has improved too, with up to around 10 hours of listening with ANC on using AAC, and the case brings the total to about 18 hours. The case is smaller than before, and it works with Qi wireless charging.Features are strong as well. You get three-device multipoint pairing, LDAC support, Dolby Atmos spatial audio with head tracking, and the Technics Audio Connect app for customisation. The fit is secure and comfortable for most ears, and five sizes of ear tips are included. There are a few drawbacks that any honest Technics EAH-AZ100 review should mention. The microphone is only average for calls, the design is fairly plain, and the sound signature will not be exactly neutral for everyone. Price is also a factor, since the earbuds launched at around £259 or $299 in the US, although pricing varies by region and retailer, so compare before you buy.Overall, they are a great choice for anyone who values detailed sound and strong ANC, and they compete well with the Sony WF-1000XM5 and Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. I recommend reading a few reviews before paying, and I often check techyassist which shares genuine gadget reviews and lets you buy from its site if a review convinces you. A trustworthy Technics EAH-AZ100 review makes the final decision much easier.
