Gil in Final Fantasy XIV
FFXIV
stands out from other MMOs by including several small Gil-sinks into its core
gameplay, such as teleports that cost up to 999 Gil per trip and its housing
system where plots cost anywhere between 42.5 million Gil and 100 million Gil
per plot.
Players
can earn ffxiv gil by grinding through the MSQ, completing Leves, and killing
monsters to sell on the Market Board. Retainer ventures also provide
significant returns.
Crafting
Crafting
is generally the best way to generate Gil in Final Fantasy XIV. Although this
requires significant investments in gear and skills, once players master them
it becomes an efficient means of earning cash.
Players
can earn a good sum of Gil by doing leves, completing the daily Duty Roulette,
and working on their challenge log. In addition, killing monsters may bring in
considerable gil. Accumulating Gil is a time consuming process in Final ffxiv gil bun and may become increasingly more time consuming over time, yet can also
provide great advantages if players wish to teleport between zones or purchase
end game content catchup gear.
Gathering
ffxiv
gil is the primary form of currency in Final Fantasy XIV, used to purchase
items, weapons and mounts in-game. There are multiple ways of earning gil in
FFXIV such as questing, farming and using the market board to generate it.
Questing
can yield considerable rewards in both terms of gil and narrative advancement.
However, this method only really succeeds if you have plenty of free time and
don't mind being exposed to lower level content regularly.
Gathering
is another effective method of making gil in-game, especially at the beginning
of a new patch as many materials will have higher prices due to being brand new
and thus fetching higher premium prices.
Dungeons
Players
often collect ffxiv gil by fighting monsters in dungeons. Dungeons tend to be
filled with creatures of various levels that drop equipment and weapons that
can be sold, while various treasure caskets throughout the world also
occasionally give out small amounts. After every battle with enemies or at key
moments during story progression, enemies often drop more and more gil -
providing players with enough resources for future battles!
Gil
can also be earned through quests, guildleves, daily duty roulette and selling
items to NPCs or on the Market Board. Gil is used for purchasing equipment,
Materia and weapons as well as paying for inn rooms and transport services;
although this method of earning it may take hours of grinding.
Quests
FFXIV
boasts more glib sinks built directly into gameplay compared to WoW. Most
dungeons will offer some form of Gil reward, as will duty roulettes and the
Challenge Log (even though these amounts may seem small).
Leve
quests offer another source of Gil, as do most MSQs. Treasure maps are an
especially lucrative source, selling for a premium on the Market Board if
crafters require one for use in their work.
Gaining
a surplus of gil can be an exciting goal to reach. It allows you to move freely
between areas, purchase catch-up gear for content creation, and stockpile
consumables to use in high-end content creation.
Auction House
With
enough gil in your wallet, you can purchase high-grade weapons and armor to
improve your character's combat abilities in any MMORPG. However, investing in
top gear requires significant capital - especially for players new to the game.
Selling
items that you no longer require on the FFXIV auction house for Gil is usually
your best bet for making fast money in this game, since selling to merchants takes
much longer.
Treasure
Maps can also provide an easy and quick way to earn Gil. While these may
require taking some risks, they can prove quite rewarding in terms of profit
potential. Leves also provide good rewards that can fill any lulls during questing
sessions.
Housing
FFXIV
allows players to buy housing for themselves and their Free Company across
several locations around the globe, which can be both rewarding and costly
investments of Gil. While these experiences can be rewarding, housing acquisition
can also represent an enormously costly risk!
An
apartment may cost 500,000 Gil, but other options exist; an estate, for
example, could cost less. But unlike an apartment it won't come equipped with
"cannot be retrieved" furniture.
Raiding
can also be an excellent way to earn ffxiv gil. Final Fantasy XIV features many
challenging PvE battles that put raiding groups through rigorous trials,
testing their synergy and cohesion as a unit. While raiding may be challenging
at times, its rewards make the effort well worthwhile! Raiding can be
frustrating yet extremely satisfying at once!
